Tivoli Sailing offers weekly sailing school in Upstate New York, starting June 28th through Sept 3. School will run from 9 in the morning to 4 in the afternoon. You can join for the entire season or on a per week basis (Monday thru Friday). Ages 6 to 16.
The fee: $ 300 per week.  The school serves the mid-Hudson River community includes: Tivoli, Red Hook, Rhinebeck, Catskill, Kingston, Woodstock and Germantown.

Students will be taught the basics of sailing as well as river ecology, seamanship, navigation, knot tying, chart reading, and basics of boat maintenance (see our curriculum). Snacks and drinks will be provided. All students must be able to swim 100 feet and tread water 90 seconds on their own. Pick up and drop off will be in Tivoli and Saugerties. Students should bring their own Type 3 life vest and be prepared to have fun!

The course will be led by licensed Captain Jerome Crandall Hollick, with science classes led by Patrick Landawe (Keeper of Saugerties Lighthouse). The primary goal of this course is to get children of the area excited about one of its greatest resources, while teaching them valuable skills.

Tivoli Sailing offers significant discounts for students enrolled 5 weeks or more.
10% for 5 weeks up to 20% for the full 10 week session.
